Understand Quran

19 Oct

We have had the fortune of attending these amazing courses run by Alfalah Manzil in Islamabad, which help you understand more than 50% of the Quranic vocabulary in less than 12 hours! The course is well organized, very well managed and highly interactive. The environment is friendly with state of the art facilities and separate arrangement for ladies and gents. Participants belong to different walks of life and different age groups. The courses are actually those designed by team and are run both in English and Urdu.

The whole course is in 3 modules, which covers all of the Quran’s vocabulary. We did the first module only but our understanding levels boosted manifolds. The course induced enthusiasm and confidence about learning Quran and Arabic and gave us a strong base to build further learning .

Haadiyah and Aymun attended the course both times and participated actively in the classes. Their presence was well noted and well taken in a mostly adult class the first time we attended this course in 2010, when they were 8 and 7 years old.  In fact, amazed by their confidence and composure, some of the ladies asked me ‘which school do your kids go to?’ 😀 The second time we attended the course with our homeschooling pals and the girls enjoyed thoroughly, naturally advocating ‘homeschooling’ again.
